Crafting Excellence at the Aegean Coast Since 1976
Pioneers of Custom Yacht Building in Turkey
Founded in 1976 by Sinan Ozer, Aegean Yacht is based in Bodrum, Turkey — a town with a 2,500- year of boatbuilding tradition.
After graduating from Boğaziçi University, he followed his passion for the sea and moved from Istanbul to Bodrum, where he began operating charter yachts along the Turkish
coastline and Greek Islands. As demand grew, he started building his own yachts, and
Aegean Yacht was born.
For nearly five decades, the company has been building custom yachts designed for long-range cruising and real voyages. Each project reflects Aegean Yacht’s core values: robust structure, safety at sea, efficient use of space, and simplicity in design.
Aegean Yacht has built & delivered more than 50 yachts, now cruising throughout the
Mediterranean, the Red Sea, the Maldives, Australia, and beyond.
Over the years, the shipyard has built a wide range of sailing and motor yachts, including the 34m Olde Salt, winner of the International Yacht & Aviation Awards; the 57m Montigne; and the 50m Galileo three-masted schooners — all of which reflect the yard’s long experience in custom yacht building.
Recent deliveries include the 26m Motoryacht Tortura from the Aegean Explorer series, the 37.30m Motoryacht Carmen built to RINA Charter Class, and the 39m White Island, a classic sailing yacht with elegant lines.
In addition to new builds, Aegean Yacht undertakes refit, repair, and drydocking works, from annual maintenance to complete rebuilds.
All operations are carried out with the same discipline and precision as new builds, ensuring reliability and long-lasting performance at sea. The company also offers brokerage and management services, assisting clients through every stage of yacht ownership — from purchase and operation to resale.
